I am teaching 2 sections in semester 2, 2011/2012. Today is the first day of class for this semester. Twenty nine students registered in Section 05 but only 16 of them turned up. On the other hand, 27 students turned up in the other Section.
I provide students with the course overview and what I expect from them. Then I asked them to write down their expectations. I will read these tomorrow and do my best to assist them. Their writing is also an important measure of their language proficiency because it is a free writing and students did it spontaneously in 10 minutes!
