I am aware that the timetabling for this semester is in chaos. It could be because of the unexpected number of students registering in the courses offered by ML Dept. Due to that, there are reshuffling of sections and lecturers teaching the sections. I was informed that I might need to let go one of my sections because of this reshuffling exercise. Owh I am reluctant to do that because for some reasons I feel the bond between me & the students, well the students might not care who their lecturer is but... I don't know!? Anyway, I am waiting for the final decision of my HOD...
Meanwhile, I keep on looking for more input to provide the students with for Chapter 1. Previously I relied quite a lot on the module but I figured out that that was insufficient. So I browse for more information from various resources in case students can understand one and not the other. Also, more examples might be useful for the students, and so, I spent the whole morning to do this.
Tomorrow I will meet the students and I can't wait to see how they are doing with the chat discussion about selecting a research topic. I hope I will learn something new from them!
